My movement practice emphasizes engaging both the anterior and posterior chains, all while honoring the natural curve of the spine. This approach enables us to move more dynamically and functionally, utilizing the body as a whole. A unique aspect of the practice is the gentle pulsing in and out of postures, which helps tone and reshape the fascia. Breath plays a key role, grounding and centering us. I guide students through each movement with the breath, deepening their connection to the present moment and to their bodies.

Since 2020, I’ve been teaching this unique approach to movement, both online and in person. My background in dance instilled a deep sense of self-discipline and sparked a lifelong appreciation for the power of movement.

The ocean, with its endless ebb and flow, continues to be my greatest source of inspiration. Like the ocean, we too are always evolving—shifting and adapting to the world around us. It can offer moments of stillness, but it also holds the potential for transformation. In this blend of movement and pause, we find the space for growth and change.

SWC Mobility Classes at The Practice

SWC MOBILITY CLASSES

Monthly SWC Mobility Classes (Breathe & Movement classes) at The Practice (300 Prince Albert Rd, Dartmouth) began June 2023. These classes are ‘pay what you can’ to make it accessible for all. Proceeds will go to support the Saltwatercure breast cancer Fund
