My movement practice focuses on engaging both the anterior and posterior chains while embracing the natural curve of the spine. This allows us to move in a more dynamic and functional way of moving, using our body as a whole. An unique aspect of this practice is the pulsing in and out of fluid postures: toning and reshaping the fascia. We will use our breath to ground, center and guide us through the movements, deepening the connection to our bodies in the here and now.
I have been teaching since 2020 both online and in person. My background in dance instilled self-discipline and sparked a lifelong appreciation of movement. My best teacher and greatest inspiration continues to be the ocean. Like it we are in constant state of motion: always changing, adapting to our environment and adjusting to the tides. The ocean also reminds us to breathe, be still, and to just let go. This combination of movement and stillness can offer transformation.
Join me Saturdays for a 45 min Foundations class 7amPST / 11amADT live/online with Daily Ritual Live (a community connecting teachers and students from all over the world). Each week we will focus on a new foundational element building a strong base to deepen your practice. Variations will be offered to allow individuals to simplify or increase the level or quality of the movements to make it accessible to all bodies, all persons.
