Hi, my name is Karine. I’m an artist illustrator based in Ucluelet BC.
After my art studies in Montreal, I have traveled and lived around the world, where I fell in love with surfing.
My work is inspired by nature, the waves, adventures and the island life.
My creative mediums can vary from ink drawings, watercolour paintings, acrylic murals, surfboard art to more recently digital illustration.
I volunteer for the Pacific Rim Surfrider Foundation Art & Design Committee and donate 1% of the Surfshine Art sales to local charities every year.
My philosophy with art is that focusing on joy, kindness and helping people connect with what they love can have powerful positive ripples.
